IT Services planned, tested and performed an in place rename of a complex multisite Microsoft Active Directory Domain with zero disruption to the client.

The Active Directory Domain comprised several Microsoft Windows 2003 domain controllers and more than 100 desktop computers.

Applications included all of the following:

Microsoft Windows 2003/2008 Server
Microsoft Exchange Server
Microsoft SQL Server
Microsoft ISA Server
Blackberry Enterprise Server

The domain rename was completed successfully in just 1 day with zero disruption to end users and business operations.
